My Story
In life, I believe we have different phases we go through and different levels of self-discovery. When I graduated from high school I also accomplished to have my Cosmetology License in hand as well. After a year or so that ‘high profile stylist’ dream life I wanted to pursue was not what I wanted to do. (Phase 1- Just breezing through life without a plan- at least for me).
As a became a mother years later the goal was ‘What can I do that fulfills me but I can also be present with my children.’ (Mindset Shift-How to make money to survive and thrive)
In my early years of self discovery, I stumbled upon blogging. It was jaw dropping that other mothers were staying home, making posts to help others and making money. They did not have to deal with long hours away from their children, they were not dreading their job because a snobby boss and so much more. Wow, I have to give this a try.
And the rest is truly HERSTORY…GROUNDBREAKING
I was able to make a full time income from my first blog and do the same for other women.
As someone that gets fulfillment in making other people happy, I needed to help other mothers and women out of that rat race too.
And this is how I created, ‘With Love By LaStar’
As you can see my ‘why’ was based on love for my family. The creation of WLBL was based on love for helping other mothers with creating a life that they can be more present, less stressed and make an impact.

I started my first blog in 2018, like a deer in the headlights. I knew nothing that I was reading. The blogging language sounded foreign to me. Hearing bloggers talk about SEO sounded like I was at a members-only club.
But I did not stop there. I remember having this little notepad and jotting down each term that was foreign to me and finding the meaning of this and how it would benefit me during my blogging journey.
Every night that I had some quiet time, I went to Pinterest and read up on other mothers like me and how they began making money from home.
I had no additional money to pay for fancy courses, so I just read and read whatever free information that was given to me and applying those strategies. Through years trial and error, I found what was able to work for not only me but other entrepreneurs as well.
Now, as a six-figure blogger, I want to give you the same road map that I have taken to get me to this great blogging success.
